At the current rate, the denomination will achieve its goal of 1,000 new churches by 2011, 9 years ahead of the target year 2020!". Yes you read correctly. The Disciples, a mainline protestant denomination is experiencing some growth. This should shock anyone across the spectrum, but it should also be a cause for some hope.
